The nearest ski resort from SHELTER Hakuba is Hakuba47. It is also known as Yongnana.
In the winter, the area is crowded with freestyle snowboarders and skiers, with a high-quality snow park and halfpipe.
The course looks like this. From the ground, take the gondola up to your “current location” on the map and ski from there as a base. Kids and beginners just ski down on route 5.
In summer, it is a popular spot for trekking, mountain biking, and playing in the nearby Taira River, which attracts many families.

SHELTER is about 10 minutes to Hakuba47 by car or route bus. If you are on foot, there is a shortcut, but we will explain that another time.
